Every time I tell my clients they need to start tucking their tops in, they shudder with dread. Now, admittedly, the tuck isn’t for everyone. Although never fear, I have tricks for you to start tucking in some capacity without feeling too exposed. I hear you, you’re worried about showing off a tad more of you than you’d like, although I want to tell you it doesn’t have to be as scary as it seems. Let me tell you the positives of tucking.

A. Your legs will look longer

B. A waist will magically appear

C. Your legs will look longer

Trying the full tuck of your top may take you back to the 80’s (note my belt also!!!) so if you’re not quite ready for that, think about the much friendlier front tuck. This simple trick will elongate your legs, especially if you team your pant/jean colour with your shoe. Adding a belt will create the illusion of a waistline or if you’re blessed with a waist (regardless of your size, you can still have a waist ladies, genetics usually plays a big part here!) it will accentuate your smallest part. The next part to making this concept more appealing is to wear a cape, kimono or cardigan that will give you some extra coverage whilst still showing off all that good shape in the front.

Be brave, tuck away ladies… A x
